ECESS Explainer

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Society, or ECESS, is an undergraduate society dedicated to providing professional, social, and academic services for the largest engineering specialty at UBC.

I have been volunteering with ECESS since 2019 in an amorphous capacity. My first major contribution to this organization was my extensive involvement in planning the annual Silicon Valley trip which occurred in February 2020.

This year I have been on-boarding new volunteers, moderating our Discord server, and piloting a new video production program that we hope will cover certain pain points in the curriculum which our constituents have identified.
