As of January 2020 existing documentation was out-of-date or non-existant due to chaotic first competition season and rapid subsequent growth. Decision was made to redo all documentation from. Simple cloud-based solution (diagram.net) was chosen for accessibility and version control features. Solution needed to be exhaustively detailed but also simple enough for new members to grasp so I developed a two-pronged strategy whereby a wiring diagram was generated first and then a block diagram was laid overtop with approximately the same layout and colour coding.
Project was completed late February and was an essential component of the mid-term progress report which competition organisers use to allocate travel assistance funding for foreign teams. This project has also served as a useful tool for internal reference.
